Educational Support
At Clarence Valley Anglican School there is a strong emphasis of catering for individual difference and differentiating the curriculum. The students that make up each individual class group have their own learning styles, needs and abilities. Through the processes of both formal and informal assessment the classroom teacher develops an understanding of the learning needs and abilities of their students and then sets about developing learning experiences that best cater for the individuals in that group.
The Learning Support Team assists the teaching staff to provide for those students that have special learning and behaviour needs. The Learning Support Team delivers a series of individual and small group programs balanced with in class support to maximise student learning across the curriculum.
